Revlon Matte Balm- what's your colour?
The Revlon colour burst matte balms are my go to lipsticks, I always have one in my purse in case of emergencies and I pack one in my holiday kit without fail! They are similar in structure to the Clinique chubby sticks; a chubby crayon that is retractable so you can say bye bye to the sharpener and even a lip liner if you choose. In the matte range there are 11 beautiful shades to choose from. Without a doubt the shade 240 Striking Spectaculaire is in my top 5 red lip sticks and majority of the times I choose this product over my high end lipsticks because the colour pay off is insane!

215 Shameless Desinvolte
A beautiful full bodied currant shade.
210 Unapologetic Sans Remords
This has a beautiful coral undertone. However out of all the shades this does not sit well on my lips. I feel this shade gathers and creases, which is odd because it does not happen with any other shade. It's a stunning colour but this tone just doesn't work for me yet!
255 Enchanting Ravissante
A beautiful nude with a caramel colour undertone. I feel this washes me out so I always apply a gloss which a has a slight pinky tone to give my lips a little colour.
265 Fierce Redoutable
A 90's warm brown shade, wearable for most skin tones.
240 Striking Spectaculaire
This is my favourite red! It has a blue undertone which make my teeth and skin look brighter.

The beauty about the balms is that depending on how many times you apply you can create a stain on your lips. I usually go 4-5 hours before a touch up. There is a slight transfer when eating or drinking but again only very slight.
The texture of the balms are beautiful and they smell great. They are creamy and apply like butter. I would recommend exfoliating your lips, ensuring you use a lip balm before use. My lips do not dry out with these matte balms and if you compare them to a Mac matte lipstick, I would choose this matte balm over the mac lipstick everyday! They are comfortable to wear and easy to apply.
They take away all the effort of a normal lipstick. If I'm in a rush or have a long evening ahead these are always my go to lip products. Try one for yourself and let me know which colour you fall in love with.
