How to look polished in under 15 minutes

1.Skin

If my base is flawless I know everything else will fall into place. Don’t be afraid to apply your foundation with your hands. If you are in a rush and you don't have time to meticulously blend, your fingers will give you the most natural skin-like finish as the product will melt with the warmth of your hands. My favourite combination is the By Terry CC brightening serum which gives my skin luminosity and a bronzed sun kissed glow. I then apply my Giorgio Armani luminous silk foundation which has a light yet buildable coverage.

2. Lips

Spend time on your lips, even if I'm only wearing mascara if my lips are lined and filled with colour I instantly feel polished. Your lip colour doesn’t have to be bright, it could just be a simple rose stain or a matte nude lip. Whatever your preference if you take some time on your pout you will look and feel polished.

3.Hair

If I'm short on time an updo is my hair style of choice. It may be a ballerina bun, a sleek ponytail or a messy updo. My go to style for an event is a volumised undone updo; I wave sections of the front of my hair and pin all my remaining hair randomly which creates a different style every time. To ensure big messy texture I currently use the big volume spray mousse from Schwarzkopf which I apply directly to my roots and then blow-dry my hair upside down.
