Let that lip colour pop!
The perfect lip colour can change any look. We are all guilty of a particular eye look, it may be a simple wing liner or smudged brown eyeshadow but whatever your preferred eye look here are a few of my favourite lip colours that will elevate your everyday eye and really make that make up pop.

The first colour is Mac mehr. It has a blue undertone which gives my lips a rose coloured look without them being too pink. This is a colour that can be worn from day to night. It has a lovely matte finish and I suggest a brown toned lipliner or a mauve pink. If you tend to shy away from pink lipsticks this is a beautiful shade which really compliments olive skin tones.

The Charlotte Tilbury Electric Poppy lipstick has become a staple pink in my collection. This bright fuchsia matte finish lipstick is heavenly on the lips. I cannot wait until the summer as this will be beautiful against bronze skin.

Let's talk plum. The Bourjois Rouge edition velvet liquid lip in number 14 plum plum girl is another favourite. It has a red undertone and is my go to vampy lip. I suggest exfoliating the lips before you use this as it dries down matte and will sit in the fine lines of the lips. Nevertheless it is a beautiful shade perfect for a statement lip. I use my currant lip liner from Mac to line my lips before I use this shade.

Every beauty needs a good red lipstick. There are so many different undertones and finding your perfect shade can sometimes be a struggle.
Mac relentlessly red is my holy grail of red lipsticks, I love how it lends warmth to my skin and it has coral pink rich pigment which always makes me look alive. This lipstick looks fabulous in the summer and this is always a holiday staple. However you do need to ensure you have prepped your lips before use, this is not forgiving on chapped lips so be warned. I use my cherry lip liner from Mac to line my lips which is perfect for this colour.

Get glossy with your red lip. Sometimes a matte lip can put twenty years on you and a gloss gives a more youthful feel. When using pigmented lipsticks especially in bright tones I recommend using a lustre or a pigmented gloss. I love the Charlotte Tilbury lustre in the shade Red Vixen. It gives you a mirror shine on the lips accentuating the pout. I used this over my Maybelline colour drama lip crayon in the shade 520.
